Hi, I’m Rae!

I'm a dating coach, Gen Z relationship psychology expert, and MA student at Columbia University—which means I spend my days thinking about why modern dating feels so confusing, even when you're doing everything "right."

My work is simple: I help young adults navigate situationships, attachment patterns, and the weird gap between casual and committed that nobody prepared us for.

My approach combines:

  • Psychology (attachment theory, relationship science)

  • Cultural fluency (I speak Gen Z, and I live this reality too)

  • Real talk and accountability (no shame and no sugarcoating)

Education & Background:

  • MA Psychology (in progress), Columbia University - Teachers College | Sexuality, Women & Gender

  • BA Psychology, University of San Diego | Magna Cum Laude

  • Certified Dating Coach

  • Researcher & Collaborator, Dr. Shefali Tsabary (preorder Raising Conscious Sons & Daughters!)

The Personal Stuff

I'm 24, originally from Southern California, and currently living in NYC. I've previously lived in Florence and Cape Town briefly and visited 25 countries so far. I'm a proud dog mom to Moses, a 12-year-old miniature schnauzer my boyfriend and I rescued in 2024 (pictured below).

When I’m not coaching, studying, or writing, I’m usually trying a new artsy hobby or planning my next trip. The current hobby rotation is glass mosaic, crochet, and aerial lyra.

I’d love to support you in your love and dating journey—whether that means finding a partner, improving your current relationship, or figuring out what you actually want in the first place.
